Sarah Patience Jacobs
Sarah Patience Jacobs graduated from Monmouth University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2011, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. In law school, Ms. Jacobs was an editor for the Barry Law Review. Ms. Jacobs began working for Culbertson Law Group, P.L.L.C. directly out of law school. Since that time, she has successfully represented hundreds of claimants in their Social Security appeals to federal court. Ms. Jacobs has also successfully briefed cases before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Jacobs was co-counsel in the case of Culbertson v. Berryhill which resulted in a 9-0 favorable decision in the United States Supreme Court on January 8, 2019. In December 2016, Ms. Jacobs became a Board Certified Advocate in Social Security Disability by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. There are only currently ten board certified Social Security Disability attorneys in Florida. Ms. Jacobs limits her practice to exclusively representing claimants seeking Social Security Disability benefits throughout all stages of the disability process.
