Paulina G?mez, director of Sendas Foundation. Phonoaudiologist graduated from Universidad de Valpara?so (UV), Diploma in Inclusive Education (UV). Mental health specialist for people with intellectual disabilities. With over 18 years of dedication to the attention of people with Down syndrome and support to their families. University Teaching Experience. Director of two graduation theses; one in phonoaudiology, and the second one in chemistry and pharmacy careers. Awarded by the University of Vi?a del Mar in 2022 in recognition of its social role around the social inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Sendas foundation is linked to other social and community organizations with the challenge of contributing country to develop equality and access for people with Down syndrome. Unanimously recognizing the importance of autonomy development as a pillar to work from the human rights perspective.
