Profile

Shari Andress is the National Education Manager for GiGi's Playhouse. Shari has been teaching and advocating for individuals with Down syndrome for over 20 years. She was instrumental in starting and developing the GiGi's Playhouse Literacy and Math one-on-one tutoring programs and continues to supports all education programs. She holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Elmhurst college and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa. Shari is also the mother of three, and her youngest, Heather, has Down syndrome.
