Preparing for Camp and Beyond!

Getting prepared to go away to camp can often feel like an intimidating task, but it doesn't have to be! This informative and interactive session geared towards teens and young adults will aim to increase confidence and independence in the skills needed for heading off to camp, weekends away with friends and family, independent living, and beyond. Topics covered will include medication administration (do you really need to take all those supplements when you're going away for a week?), inhalers and spacer use, showering and personal hygiene, menstrual management, dining-out practices, and more. Come learn some practical tips and tricks that will help set anyone up for success! Visual tools and resources will be available and shared with all participants to continue practicing these skills at home.
