ABCs of Effective Reading Instruction

This session will provide participants with evidence-based strategies, resources and activities for effective literacy instruction for learners with DS. Intended for those working with new readers of any age, topics include developing vocabulary, acquiring sight words, building sentences, and introducing sounds and letters. Participants will also get access to online resources to further their understanding of literacy.
