Behaviors & Enhancing Caregiver-Child Relationship

The session will provide caregivers with strategies and skills to enhance their relationship with their child and structure the environment to prevent challenging behaviors. The session will include an introduction to the free curriculum, Family Interaction Training (FIT). The session will highlight the importance of strong caregiver? child relationships while introducing and applying a variety of evidence-supported strategies including, communication, praise, strategic attention, scheduled playtime, establishing routines, giving clear directions, using redirection, addressing transitions. Participants will also engage in application of skills, modeling, and role play. Participants will also be provided with additional free resources and tools to implement strategies.
