Promoting Mental Health Across the Lifespan

Mental health is a critical component of overall well-being. Significant life events, transitions, relationships, and more can all affect mental health. In this interactive presentation, Abby Rowley, LCSW, and Dr. Brian Chicoine, MD, will discuss common mental health concerns that can occur at various phases often with people with Down syndrome. Families and caregivers will learn practical strategies for promoting mental health and be provided with resources to implement at home and/or share with their own healthcare providers.
