In this interactive workshop, Dr. Sarah will help you understand the underlying physiology of teens and adults with Ds, and how physiology and sensory components of balance affect movement. We will discuss common orthopedic issues, as well as specific movements, exercise strategies, and footwear recommendations. You will leave this session feeling ready to step into your goals for physical activity and confident to finish the year with increased focus on strength, balance, stability, and endurance!
